Tonni Rice-Helmig Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tonni Rice-Helmig on February 4, 2025, at the age of 75. She leaves behind a loving family, including her two sons, six granddaughters, and one grandson, all of whom will cherish her memory.
Tonni had a passion for cooking and entertaining, always bringing people together with warmth and generosity. She had a kind and giving spirit, always ready to lend a hand or a listening ear to those in need.
Though she faced struggles with alcohol dependency, in her final chapter, she showed incredible strength and determination, working toward her sobriety and embracing a path of healing. She also carried a deep love for her firstborn son, who passed too soon, and we take comfort in knowing they are reunited once more.
Tonni’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to organizations supporting addiction recovery, in honor of Tonni’s journey.
