Although Tony was born in Alabama, He spent most of his early childhood years in Detroit, Michigan up until he was a mid teen, and moving back to Alabama. There he attended Southern Choctaw High School, where became a proud graduate of its 1993 class. Shortly after graduating, Tony moved to Nashville, Tn with his Aunt and Uncle Winnie & JW, in which he made his home. In the process of getting comfortable in Tennessee, Tony began working at Pepsi Bottling Company with over a decade of service. After leaving PBG, He made a career at Adient US LLC,in which he still remained employed at the time of his death.
On July 6, 2010, Tony married Tanithia Leslie-Brown resulting in almost 26 years together. Tony is preceded in death by his grandmother, Beatrice Brown; Nephew, D'Andre Brown; Godmother/Aunt, Laura "BaeBae" Boone; three aunts, Janie, Mary, Linda; Cousin/Sister, Laura "Ron" Rembert, and father figured Uncle, James "JW" Rembert.
Tony leaves to cherish his memory, Wife Tanithia Leslie Brown; Mom, Precilla Brown; stepchildren, Tanjwanikwa and Tyquan Leslie. Grandchildren, Zameechi Leslie, RaShaun, Le'Veon, and Kalani Underwood. Siblings, Angela "Mickey", Derrick, Terrell and Travis Brown. Nieces, Shaniya Wright, Donju Mobley, Nina and Meah Lumpkins; Garcia Campbell, Nephews, Terrell Jr. ; Derrick Lumpkins; Godchildren, Talarria Rembert, MacKayla (Matt) Lyons. Cousin Turnt Brothers Mack(Marishia) and Lashawn Rembert; Two Aunts, Ruth "Winnie" and Lillie Tillman. Demarco(Gail), Alexis (Keith), Talarria, Shabeatrice (Earlie), and India all who he helped raised as his own; Close Friends, Julian "Tootall", Gabriel, Marcus "Squally" Freddy; Terry, and a host of great nieces, nephews, and devoted friends and family.
Besides spending time with family and friends, Tony loved sports, music, black tv series, and barbecuing. He even labeled himself "The GrillMaster." Tony had an open-mind, kind heart, and welcoming spirit that could leave an impact on anyone. He departed his life on April 20, 2025 in Shelbyville, Tn. His music will continued to be played, his smile will be endured, but most of all, His presence will be missed.
