Tony Roberts, Sr. Obituary
Tony Raymond Roberts, Sr., 64 of Leesburg, GA., died Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.
A native of Albany, GA., Tony retired from Miller Coors after over thirty-six years on the job. He was one of the original employees when the plant started. Not only did he enjoy working at Miller, but also enjoyed having a Miller Lite. Mr. Roberts enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching the Georgia Bulldogs. Every spare chance he had, he enjoyed riding around in his red Chevrolet truck. More than any of that, he enjoyed spending time with his wife, kids and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Lori Roberts, his children, Chad Roberts, Shelby Donnan (Mark), Jenna Garrett (Austin) and T.J. Roberts (Kalyn) and his grandchildren, Shaw Roberts, Berkley Roberts, Emersyn Donnan and Rhett Roberts, a sister Peggy Spillers (Tom) and a brother Wayne Roberts.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
Those desiring may make donations in memory of Tony Roberts to the Albany Humane Society, 1705 W. Oakridge Drive Albany, 31707.
