I recognized him working at a store here in Toronto - I told him I was a great fan of his work and enjoyed his work on SCTV.
He was funny!
He was kind, and and a humble man.

We were friends in High School in Ottawa and I have kept up on his fabulous career. I was truly sad to hear of his passing.
Although this condolence is long overdue...I came across this photo that made me connect. Tony had helped us perform at a Smith Falls hospital show. My dad's clown troup performed their annually for many years!
I wish all of Tony's family a friends my heartfelt sympathy!

Dear Tony, Thanks for all the laughs, especially at the Toronto Zoo whilst trying to cheer me up! I still have your Mom's cross you gave me and will cherish it. Mr. Green Jeans after Second City was full of friends and laughter. Your heart was so loving and kind. Rest in peace dear friend, much love and I hope we laugh together again soon. I remember SCTV and Tony Rosato too I looked forward to that show on the weekends. Everyone who came from that show was great. Really worked their tails off to make a funny show. Rest well, Mr. Rosato.
