Tony Scott was born on December 02, 1947 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late Hayes and Ruby Brown Scott.
On January 7, 1971, he was united in marriage to Patricia Mae White Scott, who survives.
Tony retired in 2012 from The Tennessee Highway Patrol as a Sergeant State Trooper since 1978. He was members of the First Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee, Henderson Masonic Lodge, and American Association of State Troopers. Tony loved to coach his son Tim in baseball and being with his family.
Tony Scott departed this life on September 25, 2023 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 75 years, 9 months, 23 days.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Scott of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Tim Scott of Nashville, Tennessee; sisters, Diane Phillips (Hal) of Corinth, Mississippi, and Linda Shelby of Crump, Tennessee; brothers, Cecil Scott (Alesia) of Savannah, Tennessee, and Douglas Scott (Doris) of Corinth, Mississippi; grandchildren, Mason Scott and Slade Scott; and two daughters-in-law, Jennifer Scott of Henderson, Tennessee, and Tracey Scott of Adamsville, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Scott; and brothers, James Hayes Scott and Dee Scott.
