Tony's life was one marked by dedication and hard work. He devoted many years of service to the Alamo City School before retiring in 2024. His work was not just a job; it was a testament to his diligent nature and commitment to his community. But Tony's life was not all work and no play; he was a lover of the outdoors. His adventurous spirit found solace in fishing and the exhilarating rush of riding motorcycles.
However, what mattered most to Tony was his family. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Thomas, a loving father to Brandon (Keri) Thomas, Brian Thomas, and Holly (Anthony) Reeves, and a loving grandfather to Tyler Thomas, Katie Thomas, Emalee Thomas, Brayden Thomas, and Drew Lopez. His love extended to his brothers Marty Walters, Anthony (Cindi) Thomas, Rooster (Teresa) Thomas, Daryel (Melodee) Thomas, and John (Nova) Thomas and many nieces and nephews. Tony was preceded in death by his adored parents, Joe and Beck Thomas and nephew David "Vito" Thomas.
Visitation for Tony Thomas will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at the Alamo Elementary School Gymnasium from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. conducted by Bobby Rawson and Brooks Rawson. Tony's life will be honored and celebrated in the very place where he touched so many lives, surrounded by family, friends, and all those who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Tony's funeral expenses.
