Tony Winget Obituary
Tony Jefferson Winget, 82, of Marianna, Florida, passed away on October 12, 2025. Born on June 22, 1943, he was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and son.
Tony is survived by his daughter, Marla (Luke) Courtney; sons, Phillip (Crystal) Winget and Bradley (Chrissie) Winget; sisters, Hilda (Dallas) Thompson, Sue (Harry) Lawrence; brother-in-law, Nick Hewett; grandchildren, Ashton (Kasi) Calvin, Austin Winget, Carissa Winget; great-grandchildren, Kash and Kaya Calvin; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruth Winget; his wife, Beverly Kay Winget; his grandson, Lucas Courtney; and his sister, Linda Hewett.
Tony loved music. He was well known in the local area for his beautiful voice. He loved to fish and would often be found on the bank of a pond or river. Tony enjoyed gardening and loved to eat the fruits of his labor. He was always canning tomatoes for his favorite breakfast, tomato gravy, bacon, and biscuits.
A memorial service will be held to honor Tony’s life 11:00 AM, October 29, 2025, at Bascom Assembly of God, located at 5516 Hummingbird Road, Bascom, FL with Reverend John Lawrence officiating.
Interment will be at a later date in Bascom Assembly of God Church Cemetery.
