My heart is heavy with the reality of Tonya´s death. She was a light, a positive force of nature amid a world that was often sad, dark and painful. Tonya cheered you up when you were down by a call, a smile, a text. She was a person who bridged gaps between people and communities.
I am fortunate to have known Tonya.
May she Rest In Peace .
