Tonya Christina Green, born on November 18, 1972, passed away following a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loved ones on January 17, 2026. A dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant, Tonya devoted her life to caring for others, serving with compassion at Accura. She was known for her unwavering commitment to her profession and the heartfelt connection she made with her patients and colleagues alike.
Tonya took great pride in her family. Her Grand-Babies were the greatest joy in her life above all else. Her love for her family was evident in all that she did. In her free time, she found solace and satisfaction in her passion for gardening, nurturing plants with the same care she extended to others. Tonya's green thumb not only beautified her surroundings but also served as a reflection of her nurturing
Tonya's legacy of love, compassion, and dedication will continue to inspire those who knew her. She will be profoundly missed by her family and friends.
Tonya was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Nelson, her father, Lonnie Henson, and her brother, Jeff Paul, And her granddaughter, Denver Davis.
Her memory lives on through her boys: Lance Dale (Rikki), Michael Davis, and Barry Davis (Adrienne). Most vibrantly through her five beautiful Grand-Babies: Seth and Landon Dale, and Avery, Kimber, and Rienne Davis.
Also through her Father, Barry Nelson, and her Sisters: Kimberly Nelson, Jenna Nelson, and Brandi Henson.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
