Tootsie Weaver Obituary
Mrs. Weaver passed away January 16, 2026, at her residence. She was born February 12, 1941, in Rusk County to Ned and Lola (Brooks) Armstrong and was a life-long resident. After graduating from Henderson High School, she dedicated her life to being a wife, mother, and "Toto". She spent her last years riding around Rusk County with her husband Johnny, and tending to her flower gardens.
Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her parents, Ned and Lola Armstrong; sons, David Weaver, Jay Weaver; niece, Jodie Clark; her in-laws, Roy Lee and Evelyn Weaver; and brother-in-law, Jerry Weaver.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Johnny Weaver; son, Rusty Weaver and wife Lacy; grandchildren, Tori Weaver Clark and husband Charlie, Haley Weaver, Ryan Weaver; brother, Danny Armstrong; sister, Jerrie Ann Clark; sister-in-law, Donna Stafford; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the charity of your choice in honor of Mrs. Weaver.

Johnny, I´m so sorry to hear that Tootsie has passed away. If I had known in time, I would have been there. She was a dear friend; we spent so much time together during our school years. I often thought about her as life took us in different directions.
