Tory Summers Obituary
Charleston, South Carolina, peacefully departed this
life on August 8, 2024. He was 55 years old.
Tory was a product of the Charleston County School
System in Mt. Pleasant where he formed many of his
lifelong friendships. Tory loved sports and found great
joy in the game of football. His love for the sport was
matched only by his passion for laughter. Tory had a
unique ability to be the life of the party with his
infectious humor.
Tory leaves to cherish his memories, his siblings,
Franklin Summers Jr, Demetria (Lamont) Snipe,
Montrai (Kadian) Summers, and Quintas Summers; his
nieces and nephews- Montrel Roper Summers, Arrion
Swinney, Nomari Swinney, Frankling Summers III,
Dashia Summers, Simone Summers, Siquan Snipe,
Lamont Snipe Jr, Kevion Evans, Japaris Harris,
Kemontai, and Kymani; special aunt, Sally Collins, and
a host of uncles, cousins, and friends.
The Home Going Service will take place on Saturday, August 17, 2024, 12:00 noon at the funeral home. The Walk Thru will take place on Friday, August 16, 2024 at the funeral home from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
