Toshia Mandenia Hutto-Johnson, affectionately known as " Donie", was born on November 15, 1950, in Columbia, South Carolina, to the late Homer and Earnestine Hutto. She was educated in the Lexington County Public School System.

Toshia was employed for many years as a Mental Health Specialist, where she served with dedication and compassion. She possessed an endearing passion for caring for individuals with special needs, but her true love was cooking and shopping for her family and friends. She always willing to help anyone in need. "Donie" lived life to the fullest and was known for giving it to you "straight," like only "TJ" could do. A legacy of love and compassion has been imprinted on the hearts of all whose lives she touched.

Beyond her professional and personal passions, Toshia was the founder of PWAP, Prayer With A Purpose Prayer Line, a ministry that continues to uplift and inspire lives daily.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandmother, Mandenia Payton Norris; brothers, James Edward Hutto, Robert Bernard Hutto, and William Carlos Hutto; sister, Wilodene Hutto-Daniels; son, Stephone Harris; and grandson, Mozell "AJ" Johnson.

Those left to honor and cherish her fond memories include her daughters, Trythene (Henry) Priest of West Columbia, SC, Veronica Johnson of Lexington, SC, Sharon Johnson of Cayce, SC, and Felecia Johnson of Irmo, SC; sons, Charles Johnson of Columbia, SC, and Ernest (Chevonya) Johnson of Irmo, SC; special sons, Stephone (Kendra) Williams and Zigmond (Tammy) Osby: siblings, John Homer Huton, Daniel Hutto, Darrell Hutto, Harry Jivers Jr., Carmel Frith, Catherine Elaine (Jackie) Carlton, Helen Sherill, Hilda Faye (Robert) Jeffcoat, Dorothy Lavern (Carl) Moses, and Karen (Eddie) Watkins; 23 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss her earthly presence immensely.
