Born in Cambodia, she spent the first half of her life working as a farmer. In 1985, at the age of 52, she immigrated to the United States, escaping the Cambodian genocide. She settled in Lowell, MA, where she became a devoted member of Vatt Khmer Lowell.
Touch loved gardening, cookingespecially traditional Cambodian harvest stewand sewing. She was known for her generosity and often donated to her community. Her family remembers her as selfless and welcoming, always putting others first.
She was predeceased by her husband, Oeun Kuy, who passed away in 2011, her children Ret Kuy, Pou Kuy, and Mun Kuy, and her brother Voir Yuos.
She is survived by her daughters Malindy Kuy of Royston, GA, and Linda Chham of Lowell, MA, as well as her step-son Samnang Kuy of Lowell, MA. She also leaves behind over thirty grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Notice
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. 12 Noon at Dolan Funeral Home, 106 Middlesex Street, N. Chelmsford, MA 01863. Funeral will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025 7:30 a.m. at Trairatanaram Temple, 21 Quigley Avenue, N. Chelmsford, MA 01863. Cremation to follow at Merrimack Crematory, Merrimack, NH.
