Tracie Michele Farrar, age 52, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2024, after a 3+ year fight with metastatic breast cancer.

Tracie was born on June 12, 1971 to the late Sidney & Martha Baxter in Austell, GA. Tracie graduated from McEachern High School in 1989. After graduating she became a 911 dispatcher for both City of Marietta and Powder Springs, until she later became a stay-at-home mom.

Tracie will be remembered for her kind heart, free spirit, love of life, and adventurous nature. She lived life to the fullest, cherishing every moment with her family and friends. She never met a stranger and lit up any room she walked into. She was known and loved by everyone who met her. She loved the pool, the beach, cruising, Georgia Bulldog football and spending time with the ones she loved (her tribe).

Tracie is survived by her loving husband of 24 years William Chad Farrar, two daughters Mackenzie (Ryne) Elrod of Rockmart, GA and Kennedy (Katelyn) Farrar of Hiram, GA. Her mother, Martha Baxter of Hiram, GA, mother in law Elaine Farrar of Powder Springs, GA. Two grandchildren, Easton and Sawyer Elrod of Rockmart, GA. Three brothers; Travis (Kim) Baxter of Aragon, GA, Brian (Theresa) Baxter of Hiram, GA, and Todd Baxter of Hiram, GA. A very special best friend Carole (Matt) Sanders of Douglasville, GA, and a host of family and friends who she loved dearly.

After the service, you are welcome to attend a reception at Creekside Golf & Country Club to eat and share some memories you had with Tracie.

If loved could have saved her, she would have lived forever.
