TRACY LYNN ABRAHAM, 58, went to be with our Lord and Savior on October 5, 2023.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Douglas Abraham, her daughter Taylor Marie Abraham, two stepchildren (Sydney & Charles Abraham), her mother Nellie Miller, her father Carl H. “Hank” Smith III, her stepmother Shirleen Smith, her sister Deborah Smith, her niece Madeline “Maddy” Kammerer and her great nephew Brayden Storms.
Tracy was born in Salisbury, Maryland and was a proud graduate of Texas A&M University (’87) and later earned an MBA from St. Mary’s University. Immediately after graduation, from A&M, she began work at USAA as a programmer. She retired 32 years later achieving the title of assistant vice president having worked in many areas of the company. Tracy volunteered at her church and aided in leadership of the Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) group in Aiken, South Carolina. In 2021, her family moved from San Antonio, Texas to Aiken, South Carolina to help Taylor’s training in equestrian hunter/jumper competitions. Her great joys were raising her daughter, being a “horse-mom” and watching A&M football. She will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Tracy’s Life will be held Friday evening, November 3rd at 6:30 PM at Cedar Creek Church.
In memory of Tracy, the Mrs. Tracy L. Abraham '87 Mays Business School Memorial Scholarship at Texas A&M University has been created by TCUF (Texas College and University Facilities Professionals Conference). Donations to this fund can be made here. http://give.am/TracyLAbraham87Memorial .
