Tracy Sue Pfannenstiel

PFANNENSTIEL, TRACY SUE, 65, passed away with her husband by her side, on December 17, 2025.

Tracy was born on August 16, 1960, in Dodge City, Kansas, to Gerald Trent and Vonnie Moote. Tracy graduated from Dodge City high school in 1978.

Tracy was a devoted mother to her sons. She was a hard worker and loved to be active. In addition to raising her children, Tracy was an administrative assistant for many years at Crop Quest and Kitchens Inc. of Dodge City, Kansas.

Tracy and her husband Jim worked hard and liked to travel, taking annual trips to Colorado and Las Vegas. They love to spend time with their kids, grandkids, and their dog Mr. Jeter.

Tracy and Jim retired and moved to El Dorado, Kansas where they celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary this year.

Tracy is survived by her devoted husband, Jim Pfannenstiel; her children, Tim Benson, Scott Benson, and Jerell Pfannenstiel (Erin); her bonus mother Lorine Trent; her brother, Chris Trent (Melody), her sisters, Jeri Garrett (Dave), Dee Dee Scaffidi (Chris), Beth Telecky (Aaron), Rhysia Williams (John), and Cindy Conant (Quentin); her grandchildren, Destiny Halloran (Jack), Ashley Benson, Tucker Benson (Keara), Logan Benson, Emmalyn Benson, Briggs Benson, Quinn Pfannenstiel, and Archer Pfannenstiel; and her great-grandchildren, Parker Halloran, Liberty Rodewald, River Rodewald, Brady Halloran, and Brilee Fahring.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald Trent and Vonnie Moote.

The family will hold a private service to honor Tracy.

Our Nana, Tracy was a positive light in so many lives and her memory will be forever cherished by her loving family.
