I met Travis in Bristol, VA he was my office partner while we served on recruiting duty with the 332nd. He Immediately struck me as a confident borderline arrogant man, kind of like the "ICEMAN" from Top Gun. After spending 10 minutes with him I knew he had a heart of Gold. He proved me right over and over again. We supported each other and truly kept each other going for a few years. You are remembered every day brother.

I remember Travis as the youngest of the "Cambridge boys" they were lovable hellions who made their grandpa Myron laugh knowing Bob was the same way .
He left us too soon. Condolences to his family and friends. The Ballard family

Travis had the most giving and loyal heart of anyone. We were partners at the Bristol, VA/TN Recruiting office, he taught me so much. He had the energy and enthusiasm to brighten the day. I will miss you brother, Prayers for the family. Until we meet again.

I met Travis when I got to Scott Air Force base in 2014. I looked up to him as a great mentor as his mind for being a Dirtboy was brilliant! We shared many laughs, as he could always brighten anyone´s day. Travis was a great family man and exemplified what it meant to be a great dad and husband. Although I hadn´t seen him for awhile, he will never be forgotten and will always be missed. I´ll miss his random phone calls, which seemed like we´d never missed a beat.

I met Travis at Scott AFB and was also TDY with him at the US Air Force Academy. When I think of Travis I think of three things: loyal, funny, and hard working! He was always up for any challenge and loved making his coworkers laugh. Condolences to the famliy. Travis will be missed my MANY!

I had the great pleasure of working on several projects on Scott Air Force Base with Travis acting as the Project Manager. He was not easy on us by any means, but he was an absolute pleasure to work with. Even in tense situations, Travis knew how to lighten the mood with a comment or smile. We have missed him since he moved to Red Horse, but, rest assured, Travis Cambridge was never forgotten by any of us that worked with him. His pride for his girls and family beamed every time he mentioned them. He was one of a kind and will be sorely missed.

I served with Travis at the 823rd and deployed with him to Iraq among other deployments. He was always a bright spot in an otherwise bad situation, always positive. When there was hard work to be done, others said why, Travis said lets go. Our prayers are with your family.

So sorry for your loss. Travis was a larger than life personality. I met him at the Air Force Academy, and you couldn´t help but love him. He was nice enough to play body guard for my daughter and her best friend. They assured me Travis didn´t even let anyone talk them. Quote "Dad, he was aggressive!" He was a bear of a man with a huge heart. Rest In Peace my friend.

We send our deepest sympathies to your family. Travis was such a kind human and he will be missed greatly. While I am thankful for all the fun memories we all had together... There is an overwhelming sadness for someone taken at such a young age. Just remember he will be watching down over you ladies and be so proud of all that you do in life. Love you guys.

I was stationed with Travis at the 823d RED HORSE SQ. I didn't work with him much, but occasionally we would talk about the Cubs as we were both fans of the team. Condolences to the entire Cambridge family as Travis will be greatly missed. RIP, MY HORSEMAN BROTHER.
