Travis Frierson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Miller & Hill The Funeral Directors - Alexandria on Mar. 2, 2026.
It is with profound sadness that we share news of the passing of Travis Duane Frierson, who was born on December 7, 1972, in Pineville, LA. Known for his charisma and boundless energy, Travis's infectious laughter and zest for life endeared him to all who met him. He had an adventurous spirit, a keen sense of humor, and was always full of life. Travis was a man of many passions; he enjoyed watching football, savored good food, and loved to travel, exploring new places and cultures.

Travis was a dedicated and ambitious nurses aide at a long-term healthcare facility, a role that perfectly suited his caring personality. He was a beacon of support, strength, and compassion for all his patients. His career also took him offshore for a period, demonstrating his adventurous nature and willingness to experience new things. His charisma and humor brought cheer to his colleagues and patients alike, making him a beloved figure in his professional circle.

Travis is survived by his mother, Lois Ann Harris; his son, Lorenzo Frierson of Colfax; and his grandson, Kingston Frierson. He is also survived by his siblings, Will Milo III of Alexandria, Yolanda Milo-Wheeler (Brandon) of Dallas, Jimmy Harris, Jr. of Alexandria, and Jason Harris of Baton Rouge. He was preceded in death by his father, Will Milo Jr., and his stepfather, Jimmy Harris.

Travis's memory lives on in the hearts of the countless lives he touched with his funny and charismatic personality. He was a bright light in our lives, and while that light may have dimmed, it will never go out. We invite you to celebrate Travis's life by sharing your memories and photos of him on his memorial page. Your contributions will serve as a comforting reminder of the adventurous, ambitious, and loving man we knew and will forever cherish.
