Travis Pace Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by South Carolina Cremation Society - West Columbia on Jan. 5, 2026.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Travis Monroe Pace, who left this world on January 1, 2026, at age 51. He was born on November 20, 1974, in Newberry, South Carolina to his beloved mother and father David and Barbara Pace.

Travis was a kind and gentle soul who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. One of his favorite pastimes was riding his four-wheeler, enjoying the freedom and exhilaration that it brought him. He was a music lover at heart and had plenty of loving neighbors that adored him. Travis loved the South Carolina Gamecocks and loved to collect anything Gamecocks.

Travis is survived by his mother, Barbara Pace of the home, aunts, Joyce Johnson, Carolyn Edward, Dianne Hunt (Daryl), Margie Kuykendall (Danny); uncles, Billy Seymore and Henry Pace. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Derek Wilbanks (Nicole), Logan Thift (Chelsea), Megan Bridges (Chelsea), and Kayla Summers (Chris). He also had numerous great nieces, nephews, and cousins. Even though Travis did not have any children of his own, he touched the lives of many and will be forever remembered for his warm smile and kind heart.

Travis is predeceased by his father, David Pace, maternal grandmother, Ellie Seymore, paternal grandparents, Leroy and Ethelda Pace, two sisters, Teresa Pace Thift and Tina Joyce Pace, aunts, Jane Hollingsworth, Joy Brown (Miles), uncles, Larry Pace, Bruce Pace, and Eddie Pace.

May Travis rest in peace, knowing that he was loved and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A memorial service conducted by Rev. Eddie Bledsoe will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 2:00 pm at the home.
