I'm so sorry to hear about Travis' passing. He did some great concrete work for me more than 10 years ago; along with his father "Pops"; his brother and his son. Very nice people; and hard workers. My sincere condolences to the Schaeffer family.

To Travis's family,
Our connection to Travis was a little bitty ad in the morning call for concrete work. My husband called and Travis called within 20 min. We set a date and had the sidewalks done and along with Travis was his son, Brandon and his sidekick. Needless to say, we got to talking and ironically asked if they knew anyone who did patio deck work. CRAZY!!!
We were so happy with their work and liked how easy they were to talk to. We know good guys when we speak with them, and Travis and Brandon were good people.

Joe and I are so sorry to hear of Travis's life cut so short. It's not fair sometime. And at the time we don't know why things happen when they do, and might not ever understand, but know this man was a perfectionist and good guy and let that be a memory to all that knew him, if only for a couple days, as in our case. God Bless Travis Schaffer's family. Thinking of you, Brandon.

Travis, most of my memories of you are from our Calvary Temple days..You were quite the character and whenever you were around you always made me laugh..You were like a brother to my big brother, Jeff so in my eyes you were like family..I really enjoy listening to all of Jeff's "mischeif" stories of the years passed when yous were all hanging out together..My greatest recent memory of you was on the night of my mom's viewing. I remember standing outside taking a minute when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I then heard your voice asking me if I was okay... We talked a bit and I remember telling you how concerned I was about Jeff being alone for the first time in his life since all he really knew was always taking care of mom and dad...you said Jeff was like your brother and that you would help him out and look out for him, and you did... That night I witnessed a different side of you, kind and caring, and it made my broken heart a little happier and for that I will forever be grateful... There will be a great viod in many peoples' lives, especially my brother's life..R.I.P Travis..you will never be forgotten.

My sincere condolences to the Schaffer family. The passing of Travis is a surprise so soon after his father passed on. I pray that they both are in heaven with Jesus now and are at peace. Travis' loss is bound to be felt, but there's the hope of seeing him again. I pray that that hope will help you all heal and that the Holy Spirit is present with you throughout this period of time and always. God bless you all.
