Tri Minh Tran passed away on December 8th, 2025 at the age of 66. He was born on March 27th, 1959 in Kien Giang, Vietnam, and immigrated to the United States in 1981.

He was a simple man who valued family above all else. He carried himself with quiet strength and kindness. More than anything, he hoped to know that he made a positive impact on others and that he was loved. He was passionate about soccer, dancing at parties, and gardening. His ultimate pride and joy were his granddaughters. Those who knew him will remember his bold presence, his firm affectionate guidance, and the wisdom he shared so freely.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Shelly Tran, his four siblings, Ms. Tran Tuyet Mai, Mr. Tran Ngoc Thanh (Kim), Ms. Tran Tuyet Hong, and Mr. Tran Cong Thuc (Thu Ha) numerous nieces and nephews, his two daughters, Tiffany Murchison and Tracy Tran; his son-in-law, Dennis Murchison and his two granddaughters, Jocelyn Negron and Mackenzie Murchison. His devotion to his family was unwavering, and his love will be felt for generations.

He was preceeded in death by his father Tran Van Vinh and mother Le Thi Duong and nephew Truoc Tran.

A service to honor his life will be held on December 11th, 2025 at Sorenson Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate the legacy he leaves behind.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for all the love and support during this difficult time.
