Born in Aspra Spitia, Greece, on April 20, 1939, to Konstantinos and Theoni Georgakopoulos, Trifonas was a devoted husband to Giannoula for 60 years, a loving father to Theoni (Spiros) and Maria (Paraskevas), and a proud grandfather to Labrini, Joanna, Eoanna (Nikolaos), Christina, Christina (William) and Anastasia. He was also a cherished great-grandfather to Konstantinos and Spiros, and a beloved brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many - both here and in Greece - whose memory will be forever cherished.
A man of quiet faith and strong character, Trifonas found joy not in possessions but in the love of his family. His greatest happiness came from spending time with his children and grandchildren, sharing stories, laughter, and moments of deep connection that will live in their hearts forever.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29, at the Saint Lazarus Chapel located inside Ridgewood Memorial Park, 9900 N. Milwaukee Ave., Des Plaines, IL 60016, from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in cemetery Arrangements by NICHOLAS M PISHOS FUNERAL DIRECTOR, LTD.
