Trinity Ann Thunder

Trinity Ann Poor Thunder was born on March 1, 1971 in Pine Ridge, SD to Carl Standing Bear, Sr. and Virginia Poor Thunder. Trinity made her journey to the Spirit World on September 23, 2025 at the Monument Health Home Plus Hospice in Rapid City, SD.

Trinity is survived by her father, Carl Standing Bear, Sr.; sister, Carla Standing Bear; brothers, Kota Johnson, Cody Poor Thunder, Mario Standing Bear, Sr., Spencer Standing Bear, and Joe Poor Thunder, Sr.; daughters, Melina Poor Thunder and Sheena Poor Thunder; daughter-in-law, Leslie Jo Bartlett; sons, Everett Libby, Sr., Dale Libby, Jr., and Jerome Poor Thunder; siblings, Tillie DuBray, Melinda Poor Thunder, Carla Poor Thunder, Jamie Poor Thunder, Janis Poor Thunder, Esther Thunder Shield, Dave Standing Bear, Carl Standing Bear, Jr., Charlotte Garnett, Jaden Standing Bear, and John Standing Bear; uncles, Hermus Poor Thunder, Craig "Skala" Poor Thunder, Isaac Standing Bear, and Gene Standing Bear; aunts, Mary (Moose) Poor Thunder, Caroline Standing Bear, and Patricia Standing Bear; and numerous beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren that she loved and cared for very much.

Trinity was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia "Sweet Pea" Poor Thunder; brothers, Arlo Poor Thunder and Eric Poor Thunder; sister, Niquel Standing Bear; daughters, Tiffany & Tina Libby, and Melissa Cummings; spouse, Dale Libby, Sr.; grandparents, Isadore Poor Thunder, Sr., Edsel Standing Bear, Tillie Moller-Poor Thunder and Evelyn Black Eyes; aunts & uncles, Violet Bettelyoun-Poor Thunder, Juanita "Fern" Poor Thunder, Joseph "Buzzy" Poor Thunder, Isadore "June Bug" Poor Thunder, Donald Earl Two Bulls, Ron Two Bulls, Gordon Standing Bear, Sr., Jerome Black Eyes, Jenny Standing Bear, Robin Standing Bear, and Maude Standing Bear; and grandchildren, Darren & Jordan Poor Thunder, Baby Girl Libby, and Robert Shangreaux.
