I have known Tristan for only 3 weeks in the summer of 2017. We shared a room in ISCM (International Summer Camp Montana), and were both in the same group. Although this wasnt a long time, Tristan was a very very motivated and strong person. He always had some sort of optimistic and purposeful stance about anything. He was the first person I know who has fought cancer, and I really admired his ability to return to a normal life so quickly and with virtually no remanences of the past. It is very sad that we have lost such a great spirited person, and it is really disappointing that I didnt have a chance to meet him again, as we lived on practically opposite sides of the planet.
