Our precious son, Tristyn Alan Boone Alderete, was born on August 2, 2025, at 9:31 PM, weighing 1 pound 9 ounces and measuring 12.2 inches long. After seven days filled with courage, love, and immeasurable joy, Tristyn passed peacefully in our arms on August 9, 2025.
Though his time with us was brief, Tristyn's life was full of love. He showed incredible strength, touching the hearts of everyone who met him. We are endlessly proud to be his parents and deeply honored to have loved him every moment of his life.
Tristyn will be forever loved and remembered by his parents, Travis and Sarah Alderete, along with his grandparents, family, and friends who held him in their hearts from the moment they learned of him.
A private service will be held to honor and celebrate Tristyn's life. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the UNM Children's Hospital NICU Fund (200977), which supports the care and comfort of babies and families in the NICU.
