Troy Huhe

Troy Allen Huhe, 60, of Ridgeway, Iowa passed away on September 26, 2025, following complications from a fall, spending a week in the hospital surrounded by his loved ones. Troy was a beloved son, brother, uncle, great-uncle and friend.

Troy was born in Cresco, Iowa on October 27, 1964, to Eugene and Linda (Harvey) Huhe. He graduated from Crestwood High School and later completed his college education in Hutchinson, Minnesota. Troy spent his career inspecting nuclear power plants across the United States – a career he loved.

Troy found joy in life's simple pleasures-tinkering in the shop, keeping things tidy, mowing the lawn, maintaining his equipment, enjoying good food, listening to oldies and relaxing with a cold Busch Light. He loved a good project, big or small, especially when it meant lending a hand to family or friends. His hands were always busy, and his heart was always full. Above all, nothing mattered more to Troy than the people he loved.

Troy is survived by his parents Eugene and Linda Huhe, brother Duane (Linda) Huhe, and his sisters Shaonda (Jake) Henry and Melanee (Jeremy) Omar. He is also lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Justin Huhe, Tyler (Kelsey) Kappes, Kayla (Andrew) Beyer, Shania (James) Speer, Shawn (Daron) Omar, Kyler Omar, Brandon Omar, Logan Omar, Sadie Omar, and Jace Henry; along with great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Troy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Warren and Inez Harvey and August and Frieda Huhe.
