Troy Eugene Hyder

Inman, S. C. Troy Eugene Hyder, 58, of 990 Gramling School Road went to be with the Lord Monday June 9, 2008 at his home. He was born in Spartanburg, SC on September 8, 1949 and was the son of Edna Ruth (Adkins) Hyder of Spartanburg and the late Marion M. Hyder. He had worked at Hoechst-Celanese and was a longtime member Fairview Free Will Baptist Church. Troy also served his country in the U. S. Army. In addition to his Mother, Troy is survived by a son, Richard Hyder and his wife Kayla of Inman, a daughter, Melissa Pridmore and her husband Greg of Williamston, S. C., two brothers, Larry Hyder and his wife Fran of Chesnee, S. C. , Tommy Hyder of Charlotte, N. C., a sister Kathy Barrett and her husband Ricky of Rock Hill, S. C. and two grandchildren, Timothy and Joshua Hyder. Troy was loved by numerous nieces and nephews including his nephew Jason Arnold and niece Olivia Stephenson . He also loved Cody and Drew-Ellen Vaughn. He was predeceased by a sister Nancy Wilbanks. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 11 :00 A. M. at Seawright Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Tim Hackett. The family is at the home and will receive friends Thursday one hour before the service at the funeral home. The interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mobile Meals PO Box 461 Spartan burg, SC 29304.
