Troy McPeak, age 56, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at Springfield Memorial Hospital in Springfield, IL.
He was born April 8, 1969 in Springfield, IL, the son of David and Mary Markert – McPeak.
Mourning his passing are his daughter, Rachel (fiance Noah Dunham) McPeak; sister, Devra (Roger) Muench; one niece, Nicole Muench and one nephew, Dalton Muench; as well as two aunts and several cousins.
He is preceded in death by both parents.
Troy enjoyed sarcasm, playing video games, soda and wrestling.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
