Troy David Rout, born on November 28, 1968, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to David Wesley Rout and Sharon Ruth Bruza Rout, passed away on January 21, 2025, in Crescent, Oklahoma. A dedicated auto body repairman and painter for over 30 years, Troy worked throughout Oklahoma City, earning a reputation for his attention to detail and exceptional skills. He also cherished his time raising cattle at the family farm alongside his father, David, where he developed a deep connection to the land that his great grand father farmed after the land run.
Troy had a passion for good food and loved gathering with family and friends to share home-cooked meals. His eclectic taste in music reflected his vibrant personality, as he enjoyed listening to various artists from different walks of life. Known for his remarkable ability to fix just about anything, he was often referred to as a jack-of-all-trades, mastering many skills through trial and error.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Alisha Hill, whom he met in 2019, and together they shared a life filled with love and laughter. Troy is also remembered by his beautiful daughter, Mallory Rout Cox, and her husband, Colby Cox, of Emerald Isle, North Carolina, as well as his cherished grandchildren, Jordyn, Karmyn, and Kyser. His son, Tristan David Rout, resides in Oklahoma City.
Troy's family includes his hero and cousin Shelly, his uncle Richard Rout and wife Maryann, and his sister Marnie. He stood firm in his convictions, guided by his faith in God, and his love for others ran deep. Troy had a big heart and wore his emotions on his sleeve, always striving to help those in need and bring smiles to the faces of his loved ones. His impact on the lives of others will be fondly remembered, as he leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity.
