Troy Shane Singleton Sr.

Troy Shane Singleton, Sr., 62, passed away Monday, February 9, 2026 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born in Horry County on March 13, 1963, a son of the late Troy Radd Singleton, Jr. and Mary Rachel Soles Singleton.

Along with his parents, he was also predeceased by his grandchildren, Troy Shane Singleton III, Andres Perez, Joseph Wayne Holden II and Joseph Wayne Holden III; siblings Karen Reed, Veronica Singleton and Kurt "Doug" Singleton; son-in-law, Joseph Wayne Holden.

Troy was a longtime faithful companion, husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. Fishing, cooking, cooking on the grill and spending time with his family are some of his most favorite things to do. With a warm and generous heart, he was thoughtful and caring to all he met. Troy lived life to the fullest and was always telling jokes.

Mr. Singleton is survived by his longtime companion of thirty years, Peggy F. Reed; wife, Sylvia Jo Herring Singleton; children, Troy Shane Singleton, Jr. (Cassie), Casey Shyian Singleton (Jenny), Phillip Higgins, Shantley Leechell Holden and Tory Christine Smith; siblings, Butch Lynn Singleton (Debra) and Susan B. Soles (Donald); daughter-in-law, Tara Singleton; fifteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and many other family and friends who will miss him.

A Memorial Service will be held 4pm Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
