Troy was born on September 13, 1970, in Manistee, the treasured son of Roger and Shirley. On April 18, 1998, he married the love of his life, Jennifer Mattison, and together they shared 27 wonderful years of marriage filled with love and partnership.
He earned his Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and dedicated his professional career to serving as an Army Civilian with the United States Military. Troy took great pride in his work, but his greatest joy was always his family.
Known for his adventurous spirit and quick sense of humor, Troy embraced life fully. He especially enjoyed kayaking, off-road riding, hiking, and cheering on his children at their sporting events. His love for his family was at the center of everything he did, and his memory will be forever cherished by those who knew and loved him.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 2:30-8pm at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons Funeral Home, 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile
