Tryon Campbell Evans

Tryon Campbell Evans, 30, of Rockingham, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at his home.

He was born on September 3, 1995, to Victor Brian Evans and Tega Brown Cook.

Campbell was truly full of life and left behind countless memories and people whose lives were brighter because of him. He loved everyone he met and had a special way of treating every person like a friend.

He was always smiling and brought joy wherever he went. Always fun to be around, he had a gift for turning even the simplest moments into something special. Whether he was singing, dancing, or just laughing with those around him, his lively spirit was impossible to miss.

More than anything, he loved spending time with his precious baby boys. They were the center of his world, and he cherished every moment he had with them.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, his joyful energy, and the happiness he shared so freely with others. His memory will continue to live on in the lives of those who loved him.

Campbell was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gilbert Henry Evans and Rebecca Helms Evans.

Left to cherish his memories are his beautiful boys, Durk and Marcellus Evans of the home; mom, Tega Cook (Shane Cook) of the home; father, Brian Evans (Holly) of Carthage; fiancé Alysah Buie of the home; brothers, Seth Brown (Keilan Thompson) of Rockingham and Landen Evans of the home; maternal grandparents, June Goldston and Charles Brown, both of Rockingham; step grandparents, Thayer Cook, II and Keri Cook, Kevin and Lisa Loftus, all of Rockingham; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A gathering to celebrate Campbell's life will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, at the Lion's Club in Rockingham, from 6:00-8:00 pm.
