Tuan Anh Nguyen passed away at the age of 72. He is survived by his wife, Huong; his two sons, John and Paul; and his four beloved grandchildren, Tavi, Aili, Isabelle, and Izzak. He is also survived by his three brothers, An, Ross, and Ban, and his four sisters, June, Mai, Lien, and Trang.
Growing up as the eldest brother, and later as a devoted husband and father, Tuan embraced the responsibility of caring for, protecting, and guiding his loved ones. Above all, he taught us how to appreciate life and truly enjoy it—with laughter, curiosity, and resilience. He will be dearly missed for his dry humor, playful spirit, and the quiet strength with which he led by example.
Tuan was a bright, brave, and adventurous man. He came to the United States as a Vietnamese refugee and, through hard work and determination, built a meaningful life for himself and his family. After working for several companies, he fulfilled a lifelong dream by opening his own restaurant, Kim Long, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
In retirement, Tuan made his home in Oklahoma City, where he enjoyed his later years.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 1 PM - 7 PM. Funeral services for family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Smith & Kernke Funeral Homes in Oklahoma City, OK.
