Twila Wilson Obituary
Minneapolis, NB started her Spirit Journey suddenly on February 7, 2025. She was born October 25,
1977 to Dianna McKenzie and Darrell Wilson Sr.
Twila grew up in Minnesota where she spent her childhood being a cheerleader, a model and making
lasting memories with her family and friends. She grew up and lived a majority of her life in Minneapolis,
MN. She attended South High and Augsburg College. She was such a beautiful person inside and out.
When she walked into a room, she most definitely made an impact, not only by her beauty but with her
love and compassion for others. She worked as a server/waitress and was a very successful at making
you feel seen and heard. Her way with people was such an amazing gift.
She leaves behind in this world to cherish her memories her two sons Dontae Brewer and Mekhi
Miranda, her grandson Sebastian Brewer. Her father Darrell Wilson Sr., brothers Darrell Wilson Jr.,
Charles Prentice Jr. Sisters Rikki White, Dawn Wilson and Paula Prentice. Many nephews and nieces,
aunts, uncles and numerous cousins, family and friends. And special friend William Charging Crow.
Twila was preceded in death by her mother Dianna McKenzie, maternal grandparents Donald and
Laverne McKenzie, paternal grandparents Darwin & Norma Wilson. Uncles Robert and Richard
McKenzie. Aunts Donna Decker and Marie McKenzie, Cousin Richie Lamorie.
We will be having a Celebration of Life to share a meal and memories of our beloved Twila on Friday,
February 28, 2025 1PM-5PM at Gitchitwaa Kateri Catholic Church at 3045 Park Ave., Minneapolis, MN
55407. There will be another Celebration of Life in Ball Club, MN area following the Celebration of Life in
Minneapolis. Information will ;be shared through Social Media once arrangements have been finalized.

Offering my deepest sympathies to Twila's family and friends, especially to my son Will who was her companion for many years. They were each other's strengths in many aspects of their lives. She was good to him and I know he will surely miss her dearly.
