Ty Thompson Obituary
Ty worked as a locomotive engineer with Norfolk Southern Railway for thirty-five years. He served as General Local Chairman of BLET Local 423 for fifteen years and was a member of Sheffield Masonic Lodge 503 for thirty years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Dewanna Thompson.
Ty is survived by his lifetime best friend and the mother of his children, Telina Thompson; children, Jennifer Ezekiel (Derek) and Grayson Thompson; brother, Todd Thompson (Lisa); sister, Monaire Murphy (Richard); brother-in-law, Wesley Hogue (Pam); grandchildren, Kenley Frederick and Sutton Ezekiel, and several extended Thompson family members whom he loved dearly.
Pallbearers will be Jackie Parrish, Troy Rickard, Bradley Malone, Jason Hall, Todd Sizemore, Tim Beard, Dale Robinson, and Jim Ellison. Andy Elledge, Danny Gardner, and Matt Thompson will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Ty will be remembered for his generous heart, immense love for his family, and quick wit.

We haven't seen you in years but we loved you from the first time we met you at our family reunion at the old RR station.
