Tye is survived by his mother, Joni Sowers; his sister, Christina Smith of St. Pauls, NC and her children, Halie, Dakota, and Tyler; great nephew and niece, Jaxson and Kailani; brother, Kimrey Mitchell of High Point, NC; special aunt, Toni Seitz of Clearwater, FL; cousin, Tonya Jennings and her children, Robert and Kaitlyn of Clover, SC; his children, Emily Smith, Jake Smith, and Thomas Bass; and special friends, Larry McLamb and Vicky McLamb.

Tye Shaun I miss you soooo sooo much. Life without you is really hard. Not hearing your laugh and voice hurts so much. But I'll forever keep you in my heart I can't believe you been gone a whole year. I love you always always always. I'll never forget the times we would lay together and laugh and talk and just have our connection we had. You will always live on in my heart.

One night I came home from work and tye was laying in my bed with our dog Freda. Well what made it so funny is they both was all laid out with coco pebbles all over them and the bed. Tye Said they had a cereal party and passed out lol it was the cutest and one of my best memories with him.
