Tyler Wayne Carter, born on May 29, 1997, in Southaven, MS, passed away on December 7, 2024, in Jackson, MS. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend who touched the lives of many.
Tyler had a deep passion for life. He loved riding his side by side, working, traveling, and spending time at the gym. These hobbies brought him joy and fulfillment, and they showcased his energetic spirit.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Carrie and Aaron Drummond; his father and stepmother, Curtis and Brandy Carter; his sister, Miranda Drummond; his brother, Michael Maine; and his stepbrother, Evan Drummond. He also leaves behind his maternal grandparents, Fred and Kelly Smith; his paternal grandmother, Sherri Walker; and his uncles and aunt, Mallori Upchurch, T.J. Gordan, Camron Smith, Clint Carter, Chris Carter and Cori Ann Carter. Tyler was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Curtis Walker.
A visitation will be held on December 10, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, both at Ott & Lee Funeral Homes in Brandon, MS. He will be laid to rest at Brandon Memorial Gardens at 3:00 PM that same day.
Tyler's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
