Tyler Beckman-Cicchetti, 38, of Providence, passed away after an unexpected medical episode on Tuesday, January 16, 2023 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, RI. Tyler was born on May 23, 1984, in Providence, RI, he was the son of Luigi "Gino" Cicchetti of West Warwick and the late Jill Beckman-Cicchetti.
Tyler will be remembered as a humble, caring, generous, hard working free spirit. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, friends, family, nature, hiking, camping, music, gardening, building and working with his hands. Tyler loved the outdoors and could survive just about anywhere. He spent a few harsh winters in the mountains of the Catskills in upstate New York at a Buddhist retreat center at Big Indian.
Tyler had many talents, and interests. He was very skilled in many aspects of construction-contract work, those types of projects came naturally to him. He was also known among the members of several Buddhist communities who shared many mantras and prayers with Tyler.
Tyler is survived by his father Gino Cicchetti (Kate), brother: Ely Beckman-Cicchetti (Elizabeth), nieces and nephew: Addie, Wyatt and Eden; Aunt Grace Aveline ( Ray), Aunt Matilde Cicchetti, Aunt Lisa Beckman, Aunt Gail Beckman, Uncle Joel Beckman and Uncle Jack Beckman. He is predeceased by his mother Jill Beckman, brother Joel Beckman-Cicchetti, and his Aunt Anna Maciel. He is also survived by his Special Friends: Omar, Gloria, Marlon, Brenda, Nadia, Brenda.
Calling hours will take place on Tuesday 1/31/2023 from 4pm to 6pm at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick followed by a Celebration of Life. All other services will be private.
