Tyler Mckenzie Scott, 41, of Strafford, passed away on December 26, 2025. Tyler was born to Butch Scott and Marcella (Delcour) on June 17th 1984, in Springfield, Mo. He was raised in Strafford. Tyler graduated from Strafford High School in 2002. Tyler was united in marriage to Deanna. Tyler and Deanna shared 5 wonderful years together before Tyler's untimely passing. Tyler blessed Deanna with the privilege of sharing his three children Winston, Mason, and Kinley from his previous marriage to Missy.

Tyler was employed as a Cabinet maker with Hermann Lumber. Over the course of Tyler's career he was also an electrician. When not working Tyler had many interest and pastimes including; wood work, learning guitar tabs, playing the guitar, attending concerts, asphalt racing, and RC cars. Nothing however brought him more joy than building guitars. Tyler will be remembered as a PROUD father, who greatly loved his children. His entire life revolved around the three of them. Tyler's greatest legacy has been and will forever be his children; Winston, Mason, and Kinley.

Tyler was preceded in death by his mother – Marcella Scott; grandparents – Golda Scott, Thomas Scott SR., Dolan Delcour; and Aunts – Tammi Ruth Scott, Glenda (Delcour) White.

Tyler is survived by his wife – Deanna Scott (Strafford, MO), Children – Winston, Mason, Kinley Scott (Strafford, MO); Father – Butch (Wanda) Scott (Strafford, MO); Brother – Bryon (Betty) Scott (Niangua, MO); maternal grandmother – Mary Delcour ; Aunt – Pam (Dwight) Clammors (Walnut Shade, MO), Aunt Shelvie (Randy) Jennings (Ozark, Mo); Niece Bryle Scott ( Niangua, MO), cousins, and many friends.

A visitation for Tyler will be held on Monday January 5th, 6-8 pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home North in Springfield. A memorial service for Tyler will be held, Tuesday January 6th at 10 am at Greenlawn North. With burial to follow at Danforth cemetery in Strafford, MO.
