Tyra Newkirk Obituary
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Paul L. Aliff III.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Lopez Waltmon; one sister, Tambri Ruiz; close friend, Oscar Garcia; eight grandchildren, Angelica Fitting, Leslie Lopez, Jennifer Aliff, Paul Aliff IV, Jacob Slankster, Joshua Slankster, Joeb Slankster, and Jonathan Aliff; five great-grandchildren, Abigail Fitting, Hans Fitting III, Henry Fitting, Michael Slankster, and Joshua Slankster Jr.
A memorial service will be conducted in the chapel of Laurel Oaks Funeral Home on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 2pm. The Newkirk family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to service.

I met Tyra about 15 years ago. She had me laughing at all her stories of when she was digging up arrowheads in the creek in Princeton. She found so many different relics from times long ago. I am in absolute disbelief she has passed. She was a very selfless person and an all around living woman. She loved her family and friends equally and would let you into her home to sit and talk with her and laugh and just catch up on everything. Tyra I love you hun. I'm sorry we won't have you in this world any more but Heaven gained a beautiful angel. Keep my spot for me. I'll see you on the other side hun. Love you and miss you.
