Tyrone "Buck" Sims

Tyrone Sims was born November 4, 1959, in Columbia, South Carolina. He was the beloved son of the late Albert and Thelma Brooks Sims. He departed this earthly life on Saturday, March 26, 2022, surrounded by his loving family at Prisma Health Richland Hospital, in Columbia, South Carolina.
"Buck", as he was affectionately call by family and friends, was educated in the public schools of Richland County. He was a loving father, brother, uncle and friend to many. His smile was infectious, and to know him was to love him.
Buck loved his family, friends and his community. Buck had a passion for children. He was everyone's uncle. He loved fishing and would take his sons and nephews on fishing weekends. He enjoyed taking his nieces to the store where he would buy them sweets to their hearts desire. He never missed an opportunity to spend time with his children and telling them how much he loved and cared for each of them.
Mr. Sims was also preceded in death by his wife, Blanche Elaine Muldrow-Sims; nephews, Lincoln Nash, and Knowledge Sims; and a niece, Destiny Reese.
Those who celebrate his life and cherish his loving memories include his children; Tieyarm (Luvedia) Davis of Cleveland, OH; Wytesha Muldrow of Columbia, SC; Madison, Tyla, Adam and Mason McCain, all of Killeen, TX; his grandchildren, Blaine Taylor, of Columbia, SC; and Tieyarm Davis, Jr, of Cleveland, OH; his loving and caring siblings, Vicky (Henry) Nash, Barry (Shirley) Sims, Richard Sims, Russell Sims, Karen Sims Morris, and Chasity Hopkins, all of Columbia, SC; a special friend, Sonja Tucker; and his best friend, Katina Simon; a host of nephews, nieces, other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss him.
