Hi I did not know Tyson or your family I saw your tragic story more than once on Dr. Phil and I was crying and I saw this today again and it was on at 5 PM est and ended at 6 PM est I am very very sorry you and your family had to go through this My heart breaks for you and your family I can totally relate to this because I lost a friend due to suicide I understand your grief I wanted you to know to please not give up and take it day by day and one day at a time your boys, your extended family and all of Tysen's friends will be in my thoughts I am sorry this happened to your 11 year old son at a young age

It's almost been a year since this happened and I can never stop thinking about tysen, he was so sweet and could always make me smile, out of all of his brothers he was the only one who saw me as me and I'll Never forget him. Stay strong Katrina and never let them take the light behind your eyes

Heartbreaking loss of a beautiful child!

I lost both of my son's Daniel May 20, 2001 and Jack October 20, 2001 so I as a mother understand your grief. Please know you, your boys, your extended family and all of Tysen's friends will be in my thoughts and prayers. God be with you.

Tysen and I were really good friends. I would always call him my cousin-in-law lol. Tysen would come hang out with Luke over at my house and those were really good times. I wish Tysen was here with us because then I can roast the heck out of that lil' boy lol. I miss you Tysen and I love you! May we meet again.

Me and Tysen we're good friends, but we didn't know each other for very long. Practically every day he rode the bus to his grandmas house I would talk to him. The fact that he left us so soon is devastating. In school I even made posters for him and many of his friends and students have them in their lockers since they're not allowed in the hallways.

I can't imagine the hurt you and your family are going through at this time. I am a hockey family with my boys and I as former players and now coaches. The hockey community is a small world and very loving in my 40+ years with involvement. Stay strong as you move forward and may God show his love for you and your family. Stay tight with all your hockey friends for they will be there for you always from here on out.

I friended Tysen when I first heard of his story. My maiden name is Theisen and my mother and brother will guide Tysen in heaven to a place of no pain and everlasting love.
I am so sorry for Tysen and for all of his family, loved ones, and friends. Words cannot convey how truly sorry that he was taken from you when he had so much life and love to live with all of you. May you know how many millions of peoples hearts broke the day it happened, and now the day that he passed. This is what social media should be for....for spreading love, prayers, and caring. So very very sorry....and prayers for peace.

I read your son's story after seeing him wearing a hockey jersey. My son plays hockey as well. I'm horrified and incredibley sad for your loss. I can't even bare to imagine what you are feeling. I hope the memories of your beautiful son, help you through the days to come. May you find stength in knowing that you will be together again. Peace be with you and your family.

I did not know Tysen, and live on the other side of the Nation.....
but came across his story today and my heart broke for him, his situation, and his loving parents who did not deserve this loss.

I am no one special on this earth, but I am a person who values life, and values children and their innocence.
And I wanted to tell you my heart and my prayers are reaching out to you in this time of sorrow and loss.
I pray you find the strength to carry on, and continue to spread Ryen's story so all who are humble, and weak in strength will believe there are people out there like you , and like myself, who understand the horrible truth about some of life's experiences....peer pressure and young love.
