Ujwala Joshi

Ujwala Joshi, beloved sister, wife, mother and grandmother, died on December 25, 2024, after a 5-year battle with cancer. She was 71.
Although it pains us that she left the world too soon, there is great comfort in knowing that she passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Ujwala was married for 49 years to her loving husband, Ravi. She raised two wonderful children, Vikram (spouse Leyla) and Amar (spouse Sangeeta).
She excelled in her professional career in IT leadership for 40 years before retiring. After retiring, she shifted her focus to spending time with her family, friends, and traveling the world.
As a grandmother to Anisha, Nikesh and Chase, she was the "fun Aaji." She spent hours with them reading, playing, cooking, and spoiling them.
Her altruism and kind heart were the core of who she was, and she will be dearly missed. At Ujwala's request, there will be no services, but before she passed, she made it known she wanted us all to share a laugh and raise a glass of Chianti Classico in celebration of her journey home.
