Dear friends and loved ones,

As many of you know, Ursula recently transited from this world and leveled up to better things. In thinking about how best to honor her, we realized that a traditional funeral-heavy, formal, tear-drenched does not align with who she is or how she would our kids cared for during this time.

Instead, we will hold a small private gathering for her immediate family. This is a choice made with love, to protect our children's hearts and to honor her own privacy.

For everyone else who knew and cherished her, we warmly invite you to remember her in your own way on the date we had originally planned for her service: October 17, 2025. We encourage you to:

-Reflect on your time with her

-Spend a moment doing something you might have enjoyed together

-Gather in small groups, if you wish, to share stories and laughter

-Donate generously to the https://www.autismsociety-nc.org/donate-online/

If you would like to share memories, stories and photos, or notes of encouragement for her children, please to do here. The tributes you share will ultimately be gathered into a keepsake for Thomas, George, Vincent and Danya, a gift they can turn to when they are ready.

We believe this way of honoring Ursula best reflects her sprit: private yet radiant, thoughtful yet full of fun, and always about love.

With Gratitude,

Maurice, George, Jackie and Tamah
