Val E. Morris, 88, of Shelley passed away quietly in his home on March 11, 2024.
Val was born on March 31, 1935, to Lavon and Lela Morris in Shelley, Idaho. After Val graduated from Shelley High School, he joined the Army. In 1958 Val married his high school sweetheart Janice Bradley. Val and Jan went on to have 6 children.
Val is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Jan Morris, his children, Robyn Morris, Todd Morris, Shara Kavanagh, Jodi Jimenez (Casey Larsen), and Jordan Morris (Cathie Morris).
Val was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Morris, parents, Lavon and Lela Morris, and siblings, Merrell Morris, Afton Gotch, David Morris and Lottie Ann Morris and grandchildren, Jason Thompson, Justin Morris, Whitney Denton, Lacey Cook and Jessee Morris.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Shelley South Stake Center, 675 South Milton, Shelley, Idaho. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 till 7:30 P.M at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 West Oak Street, in Shelley and Friday from 10:00 till 10:45 A.M. at the church. Burial will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery with military rites.
