Valerie Marie Bayes, 61, passed away Saturday in a local hospice facility. She is survived by her mother, Valerie Cannons Sasnett of Florida; one son, Reginald I. Bayes of Lancaster, SC; two daughters, Barbara E. Hillie (Preston) of Chester, SC, Megan E. Torres (Margo) of Mt. Crogan, SC; one brother, Wayne Sasnett (Seana) of Winter Park, Fla.; close friends, Norma Lee Clark, April Marie Clark and Lisa McInvaille. Also surviving are grandchildren, Preston Hillie, Jr., Joseph and Olivia Torres, Kaydan and Kennadee Griggs.
The services will be private.
