Valery Marie Mueller

Valery Marie Thomas Mueller, 59, passed away on December 17, 2025. She was born on April 4, 1966, and moved from New Jersey to Texas at the age of five, where she spent most of her life building a family, a business, and lifelong friendships.

Valery was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dolores Thomas, and her brother, Robbie Thomas.

She is survived by her husband, Robert "Mickey" Mueller; her daughter, Katelyn Burris, son-in-law, Ryan Burris, and grandchildren Brynlee and Braxton; her son, August Mueller; her stepdaughter, Tasha Summers, son-in-law, Daniel Summers, and grandchildren Luke and Reya; as well as many brothers, sister-in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Valery was a driven and determined woman who built her own physician billing company, Total Reimbursement, from the ground up. What began as a business became a second family, as many of the women she employed grew into her closest friends. She took great pride in her work and found fulfillment in helping others succeed.

She loved traveling and had a passion for scuba diving, always drawn to new adventures and the beauty beneath the surface. Generosity came naturally to Valery, and she was known for helping others whenever she could.

Above all else, Valery cherished her grandchildren and spoiled them joyfully. Being a Gigi was one of her greatest sources of happiness, and her love for them was fierce and unwavering.

Valery was known for her strong personality and confident, take-charge spirit. She spoke her mind, led with conviction, and loved deeply. Those who knew her best will remember her strength, loyalty, and unmistakable presence.
