Valine Ladner, Jr., age 89, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Pass Oaks Personal Care home in Pass Christian, MS.
Valine was born on October 21, 1936, in Kiln, MS, and was the son of Valine Ladner, Sr., and Wilma Hoda Ladner.
He worked and retired from Ingalls Shipyard. He married Bonnie Page in 1981. Valine loved to play checkers and loved his two cats, Tiger and Little Bit. He was loved so much by his family and will be greatly missed.
Valine is preceded in death by his parents, Valine Ladner, Sr., and Wilma Hoda Ladner; his wife, Bonnie Page Ladner; brother, Joseph Vincent Ladner; sister, Florina Scoby; and his niece, Deborah Ann Haddox.
He is survived by his nephews, Richard Ray Ladner (Tammy); and Darryl Joseph Ladner (Shelley); nieces, Norma Jean Ladner, Rechelle Ann Prince (Ravaire); and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Victory Baptist Church, 25310 MS-603, Kiln, MS 39556. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Victory Baptist Church Cemetery.
