In Loving Memory of Valorie Lyn Quaregna

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Valorie Lyn Quaregna, who departed this life on June 3, 2025, in Weston, Florida. Born on March 11, 1982, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Valorie devoted 21 years to the City of Sunrise Police Department, serving with unwavering dedication and compassion. Her commitment to her community and those around her will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Valorie is lovingly survived by her parents, Joseph and Valorie Quaregna, and her siblings, Jason (Jenger), Joey, and Jared (Ashley) Quaregna. She was a cherished aunt to Kylie, Jaelyn, and Jude Quaregna, as well as step-aunt to Cortel and Carter Rubom.

She is also survived by her fiancé, John Fodera, and his children, Anthony, Vinnie, and Gianna Fodera, whom she cared for deeply.

Valorie leaves behind her uncles and aunts: John (Joanie) Quaregna, Bob (Terri) Gallo, and Steven (Barbara) Gallo, along with many beloved cousins.

She was preceded in passing by her grandparents, Joseph and Mary Ann Quaregna, Jim and Jean Gallo, and her great-grandparents, Ross and Mary Inserra.

Affectionately known as “Auntie Val,” she was adored by her extended family, her many friends, and the countless “littles” whose lives she touched with love and kindness.

Visitation will be held at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home Sawgrass/Weston, located at 371 NW 136th Ave, Sunrise, FL 33325, on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service honoring Valorie’s life will follow on Saturday at 11:00 AM, concluding at 11:45 AM.

Valorie Lyn will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Valorie Lyn's name to The American Cancer Society or The Humane Society.
