Van Howard Dillow

Van was born on October 25, 1926 and passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. Van was a resident of Illinois at the time of passing. He was a United States Navy veteran; served as an Illinois State Trooper in District 13A in southern Illinois from December 15 1957 - December 31 1982 with 25 years of service. Van was married to Mary. Visitation will be Thursday April 20 2017 5-8 p.m. at the Tamms Community Church on Second Street in Tamms where there will be a fraternal police walk through at 4:45 p.m. Friends may call Friday 8 a.m. ? 11 a.m. where funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Guy Johnson and Rev. Donald Enright officiating. Interment will follow in the Mound City National Cemetery in Mound City Illinois with full military honors given by the United States Burial Team of St. Louis Missouri and area veterans. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorials to the Illinois Veterans Home of Anna 792 North Main Street Anna Illinois 62906 in memory of Van H. Dillow.
